Utah Life Magazine’s photography contest calls for submissions

PROVO, Utah, November 23, 2017 – Photographers of all experience levels have the chance to be published in Utah Life, Utah’s only statewide general-interest magazine debuting in March 2018. In every issue, Utah Life will print “Monumental Exposure,” which is a photography contest based off of a given theme.

The next call for submissions ends on December 8, 2017, and is based on the theme “National Parks”; although, all photographs, no matter the subject, are eligible – as long as they were taken in Utah. There will be cash and products prizes for first-, second- and third-place winners.

“Our mission is to tell the story of Utah,” said Christopher Amundson, publisher and editor of Utah Life. “One way to do that is to see that state through the eyes of its photographers. This contest lets us do that.”

To enter the contest, send a digital image and a detailed explanation of the photograph to photos@utahlifemag.com. See www.UtahLifeMag.com for more details.

Arriving to subscribers and hitting newsstands in March 2018, Utah Life will feature stories not only about photography and travel but also about the history, recipes, personalities and communities of Utah.

Utah Life publishes six issues a year in celebration of the nature, history, wildlife and people of Utah. The magazine is based in Provo and is family-owned by Chris and Angela Amundson. For subscription information, Utahns can visit www.UtahLifeMag.com. It is also available statewide on newsstands beginning March 1.
